Background As part of the work to strengthen innovation capacity, Drammen puts municipality to facilitate the streamlining of work processes through increased use of technology and automation. This applies both in service production and in internal processes. By adopting new methods and tools, the municipality wants to lay the foundations for continuous improvement and development, and the introduction of a new administrative management system (ERP) is an important part of this process. The municipal director has initiated a preliminary project for the acquisition of new administrative management system (ERP). Purpose The project will acquire a new ERP solution that best supports the national and municipal digitization strategy: Phase out older technology, processes and systems that are an obstacle to effective digitization Develop and introduce secure and user-friendly digital solutionsStrengthens work with the automation of processes through the use of technologyUses data to create more efficient servicesStrengthens cooperation with the supplier industry on the development of tomorrow's servicesDevelops the municipality's organizational capabilities for digital transformationToday's ERP solution includes, among other things, finance/accounting, project management, payroll, personnel, logistics and purchasing. In addition, the solution is integrated with a number of surrounding professional systems.
