BackgroundAs part of the work of strengthening innovation capacity, Drammen municipality facilitates streamlining of the work processes through increased use of technology and automation. This applies for both service production and in internal processes. By adopting new methods and tools, the municipality would like to form the basis for continual improvement and development, and the implementation of a new administrative management system (ERP) is an important part of this process. The municipal executive has implemented a preliminary project for the procurement of a new administrative management system (ERP). The objective of the project is to procure a new ERP system that supports the national and municipality ́s digitalisation strategy in the best possible way: Phase out older technology, processes and systems that hinder effective digitalisation Developer and introduces secure and user-friendly digital solutionsForces work on automation of processes by using technologyUser data to create more efficient service Forces cooperation with the supplier industry on the development of future services Developer municipality ́s organisational ability for digital transformationDay's ERP system includes, among other things, finance/accounts, project management, wages, personnel, logistics and procurements.
