- IFE and NND require a solution for temporary storage of used core fuel, including storage media and additional equipment. The storage system shall be a safe, secure and flexible dry storage system for temporary storage of used core fuel, which enables retrieval, loading, transportation, inspection and moving of all used core fuel from the plants in Kjeller and in Halden. IFE and NND plan to start a procurement in the first quarter of 2025 and hereby invite tenderers to a market dialogue to get to know the relevant suppliers and possible solutions to the contracting authority ́s needs.
