- The purpose of the procurement is to procure a new kidney stone laser. The kidney stone laser must be a Thulium fiber laser. We would like to have this new technology in order to half treatment times and thereby be able to increase the number of patient treatments. Approx. 110-130 procedures with the current technology were carried out in 2022. The estimate is that this number can be doubled with the procurement of a Thulium fiber laser.
