  • General requirements: β€’ The products shall be marked in accordance with Norwegian law and documentation, or that the user instructions shall be in Norwegian. β€’ The equipment shall be used by the municipality ́s institutional kitchens, and institutions such as nursing homes/residential centres, nurseries, schools and the like. This indicates a somewhat rough treatment which suggests that the products must have high quality with a durable material. β€’ The products must be durable in that they fulfil the hygienic requirements in the current laws and regulations. This means that the products must endure washing in the municipality ́s institutional household machines with temperatures up to 95 degrees C. β€’Crockery, cutlery, glass, cups and mugs can be delivered with up to 12 in each pack. All other products must be able to be ordered individually. Porcelain: β€’ The quality shall be equivalent to the vithroporselen/field cartridge. β€’ Crockery must tolerate heating in microwave ovens. β€’Service must endure being put on heating plates in heating trolleys. Glass: β€’ Water glass must be stackable. β€’ Wine glasses shall have been made. β€’ Products in glass shall, unless otherwise stated, have execution in transparent, clear, hardened glass. Cutlery: β€’ Knife, fork, spoon, dessert spoon, cake fork and teaspoon shall be offered in the same design β€’ A child knife, fork and spoons shall be offered in the same design. β€’ Stainless steel in cutlery shall be 18/10 steel or better and be high gloss po...
