Kjerkhaugen bridge, construction and demolition of bridge - new announcement
Through this project, Evenes municipality wants to have the existing bridge demolished and built a new bridge to Kjerkhaugen across the river Nautåa. The provider chooses whether the solution is a new bridge east of the old bridge or whether a new bridge is being built in the same place as today. If it is chosen to build a new bridge in the same point of view as today, a temporary bridge must be established during the construction period, as the bridge is in daily use. The bridge is located in Evenes municipality, with exit from E 10 about 800 meters before/after the exit to Harstad/Narvik Airport, Evenes. The bridge is located in the Nautå nature reserve that places some demands on the builder and contractor. The rig area will be available in the immediate vicinity of construction site. The assignment is carried out as a total contract in accordance with NS 8407. Note that the client opens to solutions other than described in the Pre -Project Report. It includes bridges located in a different position other than the pre -project report (east of eg bridge) shows and that concrete elements or other elements with similar properties and quality can be used, but not wood materials.
