- Short Description: NTNU-AUR-LAB Mission is to perform field operations with underwater robots and surface robots for research and teaching for both internal and external users. It can cause operations beyond normal working hours, and it must be expected that it must be worked a little beyond evenings, and sometimes weekends. This includes operations, maintenance, data processing and less development project. This is mainly solved by the permanent staff staff in the lab. But there is sometimes situations where there is a need to hire personnel because we have too few staff in the staff in relation to the workload, or that we need a different competence than our own employees have. These are situations where it is not possible to find the right expertise internally in the lab or at NTNU. Due to the time horizon and the budgets for the projects, it is not always possible to solve this in recruitment or internal training.
