• Laundry services Hire of work clothes and textiles - including washing and logistics The assignment includes the hire of work clothes and textiles, as well as the washing, collection and delivery of textiles which are naturally covered by the agreement. About the client Harstad municipality is the client at on behalf of the municipalities covered by the procurement. This procurement covers Harstad and Kvæfjord municipalities. Information about the client can be found at: www.harstad.kommune.no www.kvafjord.kommune.no The participating municipalities are each responsible for their obligations under the framework agreement. Claims cannot be asserted against the municipalities as a whole, but only against the municipality which may have caused a contract deviation. In the event of a municipal merger during the agreement period, the framework agreement must be able to be transferred to the new municipality/legal entity unit of which the municipality becomes a part. The individual municipality also has the right to terminate the framework agreement in the event of a municipal merger. Other municipal enterprises, including bodies governed by public law and associations formed by Harstad municipality, have the right, but no obligation to accede to the agreement. Purpose and scope of the procurement The purpose of the procurement is to establish a framework agreement for the hire of work clothes and textiles, including associated services such as washing, collection and delivery. Harstad municipality has its own laundry on Bjarkøy. Care in island communities is therefore exempt from this agreement.
