Macroeconomic analysis of climate change in Norway and abroad for the Norwegian economy
The analysis should be carried out with a macroeconomic model, preferably A general equilibrium model (CGE model) that is, or can be, well adapted to the Norwegian economy. The model must be suitable for assessing long -term effects and capturing autonomous adaptation (adaptation that occurs in the market without the authorities intervening). The model should be able to handle both directly and Indirect effects of climate change, and capture economic effects between sectors. The analysis will have a long-term time perspective (mid-late and end of the century) and include three different climate scenarios (RCP 2.6, RCP 4.5 and SSP3-7.0). Uncertainty analyzes of central variables should be included in The analyzes to investigate how different assumptions affect the results of the model. The assignment can be expanded with an option to include macroeconomic effects of climate adaptation measures and how the effects are distributed between sectors and possibly regions in Norway. Final delivery deadline For the agreement is February 6, 2026. The estimated value for the procurement is NOK 0.9-1.3 million excl. VAT. Included an option of kr. 200,000.
