Survey of knowledge of Jewish life and anti -Semitism in Norway
Measures 14 in the Action Plan against Anti -Semitism 2025-2030 are to map the knowledge we have about Jewish life and anti -Semitism in Norway today, as well as to outline current research needs and themes in the future. Knowledge is central to further policy development and in order to facilitate that there is still active Jewish life in Norway. With this, the Ministry of Local Government and District Department announces an assignment to identify the knowledge we have about Jewish life in Norway today, increase knowledge of the situation of Jews in Norway after October 7, 2023 and outline current research needs and themes in the future. The assignment is three -fold: 1) The survey will summarize relevant research on Jewish life and anti -Semitism in Norway over the last ten years. 2) The survey shall provide systematic knowledge of how Jewish life in Norway has changed after October 7, 2023. For example, it may be relevant to gain insight into what it is like to be a Jewish school student, a student, the working life and in the face of the public service apparatus (such as health and care services).
