Market dialogue Care homes
This is documented in needs analysis and various planning documents. These challenges cannot be solved with the current housing and service structure. Several in the target groups must be offered good and economical ones realizable housing in the center area, where they can receive round-the-clock care services and activity offers. With this as a background, the aim is to establish approx. 60 new care homes in Knarvik and approx. 40 in Frekhaug until approx. 2030, including day and activity center and staff base. The municipality does not want to build, own or operate the care homes, but rent them for at least 30 years for subletting to users. The municipality will decide on the allocation of housing and will provide round-the-clock care services to the residents. It is desirable that the housing is located in a central area within walking distance of shops and other services. Center defined here for Knarvik according to the Knarvik center area plan, while for Frekhaug it will be within a distance of 500 meters from Frekhaug square. The residences must meet the conditions from the Norwegian Housing Bank and the Norwegian Tax Agency for this type of residence, and satisfy the criteria for investment subsidy and value added tax compensation. with the market dialogue is to get in touch with actors who can carry out the project in Knarvik and/or Frekhaug, and ensure good and long-term solutions for future residents.
