Description:
The EPJ promise is organised under the Norwegian Directorate of Health and is a joint initiative between the Medical Association, the Ministry of Health and Care Services, the Norwegian Physiotherapy Association, the Norwegian Manual Therapy Association and the Private Physiotherapists' Association. The Norwegian Directorate of Health has the secretariat function for the project. The aim of the EPJ promise is to improve the electronic patient journal systems of gps, contract specialists, physio and manual emergency cushions. The main approach to the work has been to gather the health actors and EPJ suppliers, map the needs, specify functional solutions and carry out procurements of ICT development aimed at the treatment groups ́ EPJ suppliers.
