Description:
The municipal emergency 24 hour service (KAD) is a co-operation between Klepp, Gjesdal, Time and Sandnes municipalities. The offer is called Jæren Immediate Help (JØH) and an alternative to hospital admissions. The department has 13 beds that shall be available for the municipalities' inhabitants 24 hours a day. JØH is co-located with Sandnes emergency doctor surgery. KAD is a 24 hour offer with health and care services for residents with a need for immediate help as a result of somatic disease or mental health and substance abuse problems. The purpose of the offer is to avoid admissions to the specialist health service (hospital) when this is not necessary, on a general medical assessment. The admission is short-lived, with an average length of 4 days. Due to constant changes in the market for electronic patient journals, JØH would like to study which tenderers can deliver on JØH ́s needs.
