• Description:
• The regulation amendment for climate and environmental considerations in public procurements (§ 7-9) came into force 1.1.24. The change means that climate and environmental considerations as a main rule shall be weighted with a minimum of thirty percent, but are open to climate and environmental requirements in the requirement specifications, if it is clear that this provides a better climate and environmental effect and this is justified in the procurement documents. One of the initiative areas in the Defence sector's new climate and environment strategy is changing the circular economy and sustainable procurements. It is important for the Norwegian Defence Estates Agency to gain better insight into how we can align the procurement in order to improve sustainability. We would therefore like to invite suppliers to one-to-one meetings in order to get input on how we can set requirements and criteria that ensure real climate and environmental effect in this project.
