Description:
It has been decided that UDE shall procure a new school platform in Oslo School. With over 100,000 users (students and staff), UDE uses over 80% of the municipality's internet capacity. Users have access to 1,200 digital learning aids. The agency operates and manages Norway's largest wireless network (14,000 access points) and manages over 120,000 digital devices (PC, iPad and Mac). The School Platform is central to UDE's ICT portfolio. The platform is used by pupils, guardians and staff in Oslo School to gain access to data and digital services for teaching and training, communication and interaction, as well as administrative and management tasks. The school platform is business-critical and a prerequisite for running administration/management, school activities and not least learning in and outside the classroom. There are high requirements for stability/operation and uptime.
