The road network in Fredrikstad municipality is in great need of extensive maintenance work. An increasing maintenance backlog will demand major investments in the future. Inadequate maintenance will lead to a further increase in the maintenance backlog. Fredrikstad municipality therefore needs good management tools so that it can run a good, efficient and rational management with good priorities that will lead to an economic gain.
