- Tendres Are Invited The Norwegian Ocean Technology Center, formerly the Ocean Space Center (OSC), will be located at Tyholt in Trondheim, Norway and will house research and higher education institutions operating under one roof, seamlessly integrating basic and applied research areas in ocean engineering and life sciences. When OSC is completed, it will consist of a unique selection of laboratories with simple and robust student laboratories, very advanced laboratories for basic research, some of the world's largest hydrodynamic laboratories for large-scale and industrial research, and finally full-scale field laboratories in fthe land and sea areas outside Trondheim. All this combined with advanced computational and numerical facilities. The new laboratories will replace the existing facilities which are currently located at Tyholt in Trondheim.
