- The Norwegian Directorate of Health has been commissioned by the Ministry of Health and Care Services to procure an online management course for managers in municipal health and care services. The new management course will be a measure in Competence Lift 2025[1], which is the government's plan for recruitment, competence enhancement and professional development for 2021-2025, and the course is anchored in the Living Safe at Home reform[2]. The course will be modelled after an online management education programme for GPs[3]. The aim of the course is to provide a basis for students to be able to interact and collaborate on multiple levels in order to meet the challenges in the health and care services. This will contribute to providing a sustainable and future-oriented municipal health and care service through strengthened management expertise that contributes to good teams, innovation and quality in the services.
