This is a collaboration on the acquisition of the operation of a crisis center with individual agreements for each of the four municipalities. The investigation from 2016 by the working group had the following recommendation: It is recommended that one does not establish a municipally owned/operated crisis center in Lofoten. This is mainly justified by economic conditions. It is recommended that the municipalities individually or jointly conduct a tendering process with a view to a proper and legal procurement of the service in the open market. requirements The delivery must fulfill the municipalities' obligation in the Crisis Centers Act §§ 1 and 2 by operating a crisis center service that must be able to be used by people who are exposed to violence or threats of violence in close relationships, and who need counseling or a safe and temporary housing offer.
