Description : Glitre Energi Produksjon AS (GEP) is part of Glitre Energi AS, which is one of Norway's largest regional energy companies. The company has 74 employees and has operational responsibility for 21 river-based hydropower plants in the Viken region. GEP has a normal annual production of approximately 2,5 TWh. The head office is in Drammen.
At one of our hydropower plants, some 37 km from Drammen, we want to establish a pilot for hydrogen production based on electrolysis with approximately 2 MW power from the plant and water from the river. The pilot will have to be in containers to be installed outside at the property of the power plant.
In addition to the H2-electrolysis process, we will for the pilot need a compressor- and filling station to be able to fill our customer-s storage and transport solutions with 700 bar hydrogen. GEP will have no storage solution for hydrogen as part of the pilot.
