Description : This competition is carried out under the project New water supply Oslo - Main clean water network (NVO-S). NVO-S 'scope of work consists of:
— new clean water tunnel (CWT(from Oset to Sinsen,
— new CWT from Sinsen to Stubberud,
— new CWT from Sinsen to Sagene,
— new CWT from Sagene to Huseby (NVO),
— piping in the tunnels,
— new pumping station and connections to the distribution network,
— emergency pool with water volume of approx. 50 000 m3.
NVO-S' main activities are approx. 16 000 m tunnel excavation and pipe installations. The excavation of the access tunnel, TBM assembly hall, clean water storage basins, drainage sump and pumping station will take place from Stubberud. Approx. 710 000 m3 theoretically fixed mass will be excavated, of which 230 000 m3 will be excavated by a tunnel boring machine.
NVO-S will be carried out as a general contract (generalentreprise) named E6 Rentvannstunnel.
This contract will therefore be transported to the contractor for E6.
