• Preparation of planning program, zoning plan and construction plan - new thirteen bridge in 0yer municipality - Step 1
  254. The bridge was a truss bridge in steel and wood. The main span was 70 meters and total the bridge was 148 meters long with two lanes and sidewalks. Immediately after the use collapse, work was initiated to establish a temporary bridge. Temporary bridge, emergency bridge lent by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, came into place in the summer of 2023. Temporary bridge has 10-year approval. In the same time as the work of Temporary bridge, work was started on placement and bridge type for a new permanent bridge. A feasibility study was first prepared, of which four different placements were assessed. Here, a new bridge was adopted near the existing bridge. The location then had to be straight upstream or Downstream, when existing location was "seized" by temporary bridge. Following the feasibility study, a sketch project was initiated with COWI as advisor. The sketch project was a further detail in terms of the feasibility study. The recommendation of COWI in January 2024. The sketch project Assessed 3 different routes in connection with existing bridge, as well as 3 different types of bridge. The recommendation was a steel and concrete collaboration bridge, with culvert over the E6. The recommended route was straight upstream for the existing bridge.
