Prequalification artists - New health center at Ålgård
Gjesdal municipality is planning a new health centre. On this occasion, artists and craftspeople are invited to register an interest in assignments. In order to reach out to more people and ensure diversity in artistic expression, the assignment is announced as an open prequalification with the aim of finding artists for a closed competition. No sketch proposals are expected in this round.About the construction projectDue to increased needs in health and welfare, Gjesdal municipality is building a new health quarter at Ålgård. The purpose of this is to create good housing, treatment and activity offers for a number of different user groups. In addition, the health center will be an activity center with extensive cooperation with volunteers. Implementation of welfare technology solutions in the building is central to the project. The new health quarter should have architectural signal value and in addition to being a home for residents, it should also be a new, attractive and inviting meeting place, a meeting point in Ålgård's new centre.
