- Description:
- Troms County (TFK) intends to procure a new training vessel for Nord-Troms Sixth Form College, skjervΓΈy school place. The vessel shall primarily be used for training the school Μs pupils at VG1 and at VG2. The vessel shall however also be available for other purposes. TFK is following up on the desire for zero and low emissions in shipping. TFK has therefore set a goal that new vessels should have zero or low emissions. The vessel shall therefore have a hybrid propulsion machinery based on electrical progress with electrical energy from shore, but with backup production of energy on board.
