- Description:
- The Norwegian Defence Estates Agency shall carry out Inline Inspection of pipelines in accordance with API 1063. The pipe shall be scanned with ultrasound to detect corrosion and abrasion. The buried pipeline is several km long. Due to the grading of objects, the size or location is not included in the description. The pipe shall be spiked with cleaning spikes before scanning. The test medium will be JetA-1 aircraft fuel with a working pressure of 50% and this shall be documented by covering and external thickness measurements. Further details will be given on the site inspection. Personnel must be security cleared to SECRET.
