Description : The project aims to secure the landslide points with debris flow fences and securing in cuts. In total approx. 800 m of debris flow fences (rockfall fences) will be set up, divided into four landslide points. The debris flow fences must have a capacity of 3,000 kJ and 5,000 kJ, and heights of five metres and six metres. The debris flow fences will be mounted on top of rock cuttings, and mounting will take place with remote controlled equipment from the road. A blending of bare rock and rock with varying loose mass coverage and scree mass is expected.
The works can be carried out in the summer half of the year May - October 2022. County road 5600 is narrow and without bypass roads. The side terrain is steep and demanding in terms of assessment of work risk.
