Description : The aim of this prior information notice is to obtain information on available 'Laboratory Information Management Systems' (LIMS) that are available in the market with a view to a procurement of a new system for a modern, medical genetic laboratory.
We would like the LIMS to have integrated functionality for family tests (pedigree) and structured phenotype registration. The system also ought to be able to facilitate communication with other LIMSs, invoicing systems, electronic requisitions, and transferring results to different electronic patient journal systems.
The contracting authority for the coming procurement will be Oslo University Hospital Trust (OUS), Medical Genetics Department. In addition, the Medical Genetics Department at Telemark Hospital Trust will participate in the coming procurement with an option to procure the system.
