Description:
Help us get an offer of housing respite for persons with disabilities who cover the municipality ́s needs. Supplementary framework agreements for housing respite care. Oslo municipality needs to increase the scope of the housing respite offered privately. In 2019 the Welfare Agency entered into framework agreements for respite services outside the home of children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Mapping shows that through 2023, and especially in the last six months, there has been a lack of capacity for housing respite to particular parts of the target group. The Norwegian Welfare Administration shall, based on this, carry out a supplementary procurement of respite services. The supplementary framework agreements are limited to housing respite for • minor children, • users with a need for high manpower and • users with a need for screening In addition the framework agreements shall cover respite care without overnighting both on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Respite care without overnight stays is not limited to the target groups above, but it shall include respite care for children and adults with different degrees of disabilities or with similar needs. Process schedule We plan to announce the competition in June, with the start of contracts autumn/winter 2024. The supplementary framework agreements shall run parallel to the existing framework agreements for respite services, i.e. until 20.06.2027, with an option for an extension for a further two years. ...
