Procurement of consulting services for review of the staff area
The Coastal Agency has also decided that an external consultant will assist in the task. The Coastal Agency is functionally organized with four business areas. Most of the joint functions in the Coastal Administration are organized in the operating unit "coastal director" with associated staffs and support services. But there are also some administrative staff and support functions in the staffs of the directors for the four business areas, as well as in some departments under these. The Coastal Administration wants to ensure that we have a good and efficient organization and dimensioning of these resources. To achieve this, the Coastal Administration needs a) an overview of the current administrative staff and support resources, b) an assessment of various alternatives for future organization and c) an assessment of various alternatives for future dimensioning. The aim of the study is to identify any efficiency potential, and to assess whether tasks within staff and administration can be solved in a more cost-effective, smarter and qualitatively better way.
