- Odder0ya sewage treatment plant currently has a fire damper control center with MicroMatic Safegard Global management system with modules and communication boxes that use Modbus. It is now desirable to replace the fire damper control center, associated modules and communication boxes with a PLC-based system that uses distributedIOs (RIO) and WinCC-OA for control and monitoring of fire dampers. WinCC-OA is already used at Odder0ya RA. The background is challenges with access to spare parts for existing facilities and that existing facilities get constant errors/failures and generate unnecessary common alarms that lead to resourcerepeated and unwanted calls.
