• Procurement of main contractor etc. for the rehabilitation of Ole Bull's villa on Lysøen The Ole Bull villa on Lysøen is one of Norway's most important cultural and historical buildings and a world-renowned composer's home. The villa, which was built in 1872-1873, (later extended) is characterized by a distinctive construction technique that combines Swiss style with inspiration from Moorish architecture. The villa requires extensive rehabilitation and restoration to ensure that the buildings are preserved for future generations, made more accessible and form historical framework for imparting knowledge and cultural experiences. Kode has engaged an external project manager (PL) and engineering group (PG) for the work, who are working on the revision of the previously prepared preliminary project, with the aim of defining which measures can be carried out within the project's financial framework. Through this procurement, Kode will engage a main contractor (HE) to carry out the construction works. The work is described in more detail in Appendix 9 - Administrative provisions - NS 8405. HE will report to BL, but also work closely with PG v/PGL. Due to the nature of the project, many assessments and decisions will be made during the course of the work. It is desirable that HE should come up with proposals for solutions, in dialogue with Code, BL and PG. The main part of work will be carried out on the villa, but the cafe extension will also undergo rehabilitation and improvements.
