Procurement of a travel habits survey for the national ferry service The client wants a quote for the delivery of a travel habits survey for the national road ferry connections. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration is responsible for 16 national road ferry connections, which form a central part of the national network the transport system. Beyond the existing ferry statistics, we have limited knowledge of who travels on the ferries and what their needs are. The last survey of travel habits on ferries was carried out in 2013, and there is therefore a need for updated insight. To ensure an efficient, environmentally friendly and user-friendly ferry service, there is a need to supplement current statistics with data on ferry users' travel habits. The planned travel habits survey should give a comprehensive picture of travelers' purposes and needs, contribute to a better decision-making basis for future contracts, tendering and development of ferry services.
