- The new Tjeldsund municipality was established 01.01.2020 after the merge of former Tjeldsund municipality and former Skånland municipality. The municipality has currently a property value taxation for plants and farms. The Municipal Council has decided to implement property value taxation for housing and holiday cottages with effect from 01.01.2024. Tjeldsund municipality shall inspect all properties for basis for taxation.
