Description:
For the client's planned carbon capture project at the incineration plant in Radalen, previously carried out feasibility studies are to be further matured to FEED level. A general requirement is that the cost estimate for a complete carbon capture plant (incl. integration) as described meets the AACE 18R-97 class 2 level, with encalled elements of class 3, or equivalent recognized standards. The carbon capture plant must be modular, and as a minimum be able to capture 100,000t of CO2 per year from the flue gas as it is today, upwards limited to 150,000t of CO2 per year. The CO2's subsequent capture, be purified to comply with given requirementsspecifications given for transport and permanent storage by the actors most relevant to store CO2 permanently. The technology to be used for CO2 capture must be liquid absorption with amine as the chosen sorbent, and the technology must be mature for use on flue gas after waste incineration.
