Description : Sykehuspartner HF is faced with a choice where the current infrastructure can be renewed, or changed to a cloud-based model. This can result in the services being delivered by implementing the ‘as-a-service- model, where infrastructure is delivered as a service (IaaS), platform services will be delivered as a service (PaaS), and finally Software as a Service (SaaS).
Sykehuspartner HF therefore wants to establish a new platform for operation of infrastructure and licensing of Oracle databases (hereafter called ‘the solution-) where hardware and the required licensing must be leased by an external provider. In this scenario, the service provider must also take full responsibility for operating hardware, strongly limited to the administration of the databases and the operating system on which the databases are installed.
Operation of hardware is the service provider's responsibility such as described in the requirement specification as the hardware is leased ‘as a service-.
