Description:
The procurement concerns a surveillance service using specially equipped Twin-engine turboprop aircraft with pressurised cabin and a long range. The tenderer must operate 2 aircraft in connection with the service, including equipping and adapting both aircraft with sensor systems, all maintenance on aircraft and systems, as well as pilots and at least one system operator. Aircraft and personnel should be included in an emergency preparedness plan with 2- and 4-hour emergency response requirements. The primary area of operations is the entire Norwegian economic zone, as well as the Fisheries Protection Zone around Svalbard and Jan Mayen. The operation will not have a fixed base/airport, but the aircraft will move around and operate out of 24-hour airports. The assignments require low-level flight during data capture, 4,000 feet and below. Several of the service's operations will require flying under the regulations for Specialised Operations (SPO).
