Qualification Trafo Hinnøy station
Vestall AS is planning the establishment of a new transformer station with 2 units. power transformers in Sortland municipality and thus reinforcement of the associated high-voltage network. A license application for the measure will be sent to the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) in spring 2026. The requested solution involves the establishment of a 132 kV transformer station, in Osvolldalen in Sortland municipality, with connection to Statnett's existing switching facility, as well as rescheduling of associated high-voltage routes. Start of the construction work associated with the construction of the station is tentatively set for spring 2027 and estimated completion of the station is September 2028. The transformers must be delivered by then.
