Short description: Fladstad's waterworks were established in 1963, but have been upgraded afterwards. The waterworks use Rack Standelva as a source via an intake line from the late 1950s. Rakkestadelva is highly contaminated with high concentration of nutrient salts and bacteria. The treatment built in 1963 consists of dosing with liquor, chemical precipitation with pax and pressure filtration and chlorination. In 2001, a height pool was built and a new treatment part consisting of UV disinfection (full capacity) and adsorption on activated carbon (GAC) on a part flow (approx. 15% of the plant's total capacity).
