Description:
The oldest part of the main building at Klokkerenga, the second floor, is from the 17th century, while the first floor is from the 19th century. The building has been a museum building for 73 years - ever since the community center was established in 1950 - but has not been the subject of major restoration work. The building bears the stamp of the lackthey require maintenance over time and "need extensive and time-consuming measures and interventions". A condition report from 2020 prescribes a number of measures for Klokkerenga. Overall, the building is assessed in measure class 3 (TK3), based on an assessment of condition and degree of consequence. TK3 is the highest degree of severity og requires "Major interventions based on diagnosis" The main measures relate to the re-roofing of parts of the roof, drainage and trenching around the house, as well as the repair of structures damaged by rot. Window restoration has begun on two of the windows on the south side of the building, as well as some urgent measures related todrainage and removal of vegetation. For other details, see the attached condition report. It is a goal that the main building at Klokkerenga will be fully renovated by the village site's 75th anniversary in 2025.
