Rental of radars - GN-inSAR systems
NVE is responsible for monitoring and mapping unstable mountain areas in Norway. Today, there are 10 unstable mountain areas with high risk that are continuously monitored by NVE. The most common measurement methods are GPS and total station, ground-based radar (GB-inSAR), as well as laser and tension rod. Unstable mountain areas with moderate risk, and mountain areas with insufficient knowledge, are followed up through periodic monitoring. This monitoring is carried out with periodic GPS measurements, ground-based radar measurements and radar measurements from satellite (inSAR).
