Description:
Rental of trawls for experimental fishing with bottom trawl and floating trawl This trip is part of the bottom contact project in fishing with trawls for bottom fish. The Directorate of Fisheries wants to hire a factory/freezer trawl with a cod trawl permit north of 62° N. All catches in the trial period must be deducted from the vessel's own allowances. It will be important that the vessel has enough quota available to carry out the experiment. The vessel must be suitable for fishing trials and have sufficient working space both on the trawl deck for working with tools, and on the factory deck for length measurement and weighing of fish, and possibly processing of catch samples. The trip will have a duration of approx. 18 days with an option of up to 3 extra days if needed, and is planned to be completed in the second quarter of 2026, after further agreement between tenants and landlord. The supplier keeps the boat and crew as for ordinary operations, including bunkers, butter oils, etc.
