Description : NHN operates a nationwide MPLS network, with an stated goal of 100% uptime for services. The network consists of in-house passive and active xWDM (Infinera) and leased optical wavelengths, with Cisco and Huawei used for IP layer.
In addition to data centres and customers connected directly to this network, smaller locations are connected through 3rd party MPLS offerings, where the 3rd party connects to our network via several NNI's (network-network interface).
Scope of network:
• MPLS P/PE Routers: 106
• Customer CPE -routers: 2600
• Optical backbone circuits: 280
The number of network elements and services supplied will grow by 100% in a four year perspective.
The contracting authority therefore wants the most possible relevant information about the feasibility of a solution that can make this possible.
Commercial software will be preferred over development from the ground up, as it is commercially and operatively sensible.
