Description:
NORCE, the Norwegian Research Centre would like to obtain information for a potential procurement of a medium sized UAV for use in aerial surveying and monitoring in arctic regions. The UAV must be able to operate in a number of different environments and weather conditions, in addition to having a long range and flight time. NORCE would like to use this RFI to get input from potential suppliers on solutions that meet our needs. The procurement will be part of the research infrastructure in the Antarctic, where it will be used as a research tool with different payloads. The UAV will operate in mainland Norway in the testing phase and then in the Antarctic. Further information on the project can be found at https://www.npolar.no/en/tone/.
