• RFI - Metering - purchase and installation of meters, as well as collection and processing of measurement data from district heating meters Background for the RFI request Lunera Energi is a newly established energy company that consists of district heating operations at Heimdal in Trondheim and at Stjørdal. The businesses were previously owned by Statkraft Varme, but were sold in December 2025. As a result, Lunera Energi is in an establishment and transition phase, where the company will gradually build up its own agreements and solutions, and at the same time phase out contractual relationships as in day is owned by Statkraft, but which Lunera Energi temporarily uses. In this transition phase, Lunera Energi wants to obtain information from the market about services related to metering, in order to gain better insight into available solutions, delivery models and recommended contract structure before a procurement.Scope of future procurement Lunera Energi's main business is the production and supply of district heating. The company is also responsible for ownership, operation and further development of meter infrastructure linked to its own facilities and customers. Lunera Energi owns the meters themselves, the associated SIM cards and measurement data, but today uses external suppliers for various parts of the value chain within measurement, data collection and field services. Lunera Energi buys services that cover the value chain related to the core business, often referred to as the MAFI process (metering, settlement, invoicing and collection).
