The purpose of this market survey is to survey the supplier market for laundry services with a view to a possible competition for the municipality's existing services. The survey must provide insight into: Number and type of suppliers operating in the market, including their capacity, geographical coverage and service offering. The suppliers' interest in participating in a future competition for municipal laundry services. Requirements and expectations the suppliers have for such a procurement, including requirements for quality, environment, working conditions and contract structure. Possibilities for innovation and efficiency, as well as how the suppliers can contribute to meeting the municipality's needs in the most appropriate and sustainable way possible. In addition, the municipality wants to investigate whether a possible transfer of business will be relevant for the suppliers. This means that employees who currently perform laundry services under municipal authority can be transferred to a new supplier in accordance with the rules on the transfer of business in Chapter 16 of the Working Environment Act. The survey will therefore also reveal the suppliers' attitude to and experience with such transfers, as well as how they safeguard the employees' rights and integration in their own organisation.
