Description:
Ørland municipality will build a new Ørland water treatment plant (VBA) to improve capacity and safety in the water supply. The plant will be expanded as a new full treatment plant with several hygienic barriers with Barsetvatnet as a water source. This competition includes building a new Ørland VBA with associated infrastructure such as roads, water wires and cable trenches. For all building work is included for the water treatment plant. The footprint for the water treatment plant will be approx. 750 m2. The plant is built over 3 floors on a sloping natural site. The lower floor will be under the ground in its entirety, the ground floor will be above the ground to the south, while the 2nd floor will be above the ground in its entirety. Large parts of the plant will be for process with filters, various pools, pipe cellar, pipe gallery, chemical department, technical room for ventilation, workshop, board room and ICT room. While on the 2nd floor it will include: Become a staff/ operating department. The plant remains close to existing infrastructure and will be built while existing water supply is maintained.
