- This procurement involves a modernisation and security upgrading of the control systems to two KUKA KR120 R2500pro industrial robots at the Institute for Mechanical Engineering and Production at NTNU in Trondheim. These are robots that were installed in 2013/14 at the then Institute for Production and Quality Engineering. These robots are now installed at the Institute for Machinery and Production (MTP) and are intended to be used in new research projects with new equipment. We believe that NTNU has the right to enter into this agreement without announcing the competition, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations § 13-4 letter b.
