• Rv.426 Eigerøy bridge The main purpose of the project is to replace the current Eigerøy bridge with a new bridge to be built parallel to the south side of the existing one. When the new bridge is finished, the old one will be demolished. In addition, a hallway and cycle path southwards along Hovlandsveien, on today's national highway 426. Associated roads in the area will also be upgraded to ensure an overall improvement of the infrastructure. New Eigerøy bridge * New Eigerøy bridge will be built on the south side of the existing bridge. When the new bridge is completed, the old one must be demolished. The new bridge is planned as a "Slab bridge in concrete with blasting columns with a length of approximately 272 m. * The bridge should have a typical total width of 13.6 m. * The sailing rectangle should be (HxW) 22.5 m by 23.5 m..
