- The purpose of the procurement is to procure scope equipment for the Urology Department's outpatient clinic c/o Helse Stavanger Hospital Trust The equipment will be used for cystoscopy, cancer follow-up, bladder diagnostics, removal of foreign bodies from the bladder, biopsies and bladder flushing. It will also be for mapping and follow-up after cancer treatment. Examination, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with urological disorders must be carried out. Flexible video cytoscopes will also be used for botox treatments. The equipment is currently used on approx. 2,200 patients per year, with a potential for increased frequency.
