Description : Sjøfartsdirektoratet (the Norwegian Maritime Directorate) will give concessions to 15 private actors for certification of fishing vessel and cargo vessel 8 m - 15 m greatest length.
The following applies for the scheme:
• only those suppliers who are awarded a concession will be able to provide services to owners of fishing vessels and cargo ships 8 m — 15 m;
• a supplier who has been granted a concession will be able to provide services to the customers who choose the supplier in question.
Licensing contracts will be awarded to 15 suppliers which will be distributed as follows within these 3 regions:
• Region 1: Viken, Oslo, Vestfold and Telemark, Agder and Rogaland — 3 service contracts,
• Region 2: Vestland, Møre og Romsdal, Trøndelag - six service contracts,
• Region 3: Nordland Troms og Finnmark - six service contracts.
It is only possible to apply for a concession in 1 region and which region is sought must be stated in Annex 2 — competence requirement.
